Clyde Mac Curtis, age 94, of Colfax Road, Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at his residence after an extended illness.

Born April 30, 1928, in Fleming County, he was the son of the late Jerdan Curtis and Bertha Jane Bradshaw Cassidy.  In addition to his parents, his wife of 59 years, Lodema Jane Crawford Curtis, preceded him in death on March 6, 2021, as well as a son, Jackie Burke; a daughter, Trish Burke; three brothers, Bill Curtis, Jack Curtis, and Gene Curtis; two sisters, Mary Plunkett and Edna Jent; infant grandson, Adam Hawkins; granddaughter, Wendy Dunaway; great grandson, Donavin Kelly; and infant great granddaughter, Arrow Stewart.

He is survived by his children, Margaret (Donald) Humphries, Mary Hawkins (Teddy Hickerson), Martha (Jimmy) Stewart, and Donna Curtis (Shane Zornes), all of Hillsboro, and Mona (Billy) Sapp of Ewing, and one sister, Okie Holt of Lebanon, Indiana.

His grandchildren:  April and Molly Hord; Travis Fawns; Dusty (Stacey) Humphries; Taylor (Bradley) Gooding; Julie Hawkins (Jordan Richardson); Jayla (Nicholas) Shelley; Jenna Wagoner; Jared (Ashton) Stewart; Derrick, Johnathon and Dalton Burton; Clyde Raylan Zornes; Heather Plummer; and Isaac Sapp.

His great grandchildren:  Carley Dunaway; Randall (Miranda), Emily and Ryan Humphries; Kendall Hawkins; Aspyn, Hudson and Brixton Gooding; Harper, Connor, Kaiser, and Hazel Shelley; Isaac Fawns; Wyatt Stewart; Caden and Colton Sebastion; Adley and Lawson Sapp; and Henley Plummer.

His great-great granddaughter: Evelyn Humphries.

He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.

Clyde was a life-long farmer and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed being outside, sitting on the porch, riding four wheelers, watching ballgames, and spending time with family.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Hutton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Engle and Brother Randy Hawkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers:  Bradley Gooding, Randall Humphries, Ryan Humphries, Dusty Humphries, Derrick Burton, Nicholas Shelley, and Travis Fawns.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
