Gregory Hall, age 72, of Big Bend Locust Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born February 23, 1951, in Pike County, Kentucky, a son of the late Zander and Josephine Bray Hall.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Trudie Hall; one sister, Katrina Perez; and three brothers, Harbit Hall, Carlos Hall, and Corbitt Hall.

Greg is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Clara Adkins Hall, whom he married February 17, 1968; one son, Gregory Hall, Jr. and wife Tammy of Hillsboro; one daughter, Carolyn Keathley of Hillsboro; one brother, Billy Joe Hall and wife Anna of Wallingford; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Greg was a former coal miner in Pike County, Kentucky.  He enjoyed gardening, 4-wheeling, coon hunting, fishing, and most of all spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Gerald Saunders officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on Big Bend Locust Road with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024, and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
