Robert Allen "Bob" Flora, age 81, of Colfax, passed away on December 8, 2023, at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead.

He was born in Hillsboro on February 12, 1942, a son of the late Carl Thomas Flora and Helen (Gray) Flora.  He was a member of Johnson First Church of God, a heavy equipment operator for the Department of Highways for 35 years, and a dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, He will be missed by those who love him.

Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Ann (Spurlock) Flora; two daughters, Cheryl Renee (Larry) Gray and Lisa Janine (Aaron) Rieck; two grandsons, Trevor Bryce Rieck and Tyler Blayne (Savannah) Rieck; a great-granddaughter, Raelynn Rose Rieck; one sister, Bonnie Sue (David) Earlywine of Flemingsburg; and several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Wilson Ray Claypool, Charles "Bo" Harmon, and Calvin Flora; and two sisters, Ruby Mae (Flora) Kissick and Betty (Flora) Muir.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Hutton Funeral Home with James Hickerson and Randy Hawkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Daryl Harmon, Trevor Rieck, Tyler Rieck, Pete Reed, Monty Jent, Scotty Dailey, Troy Hurst, and Ricky Lewis. Honorary pallbearers: Richard Engle, Henry Fultz, and Shayne Harmon.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2023, and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
