Charles Kenneth “Charlie” Stewart, age 29, of Morehead, formerly of Fleming County, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023, due to injuries sustained in a work-related accident in Cincinnati.
Born February 10, 1994, in Morehead, Charlie is the son of Greg Stewart and wife Tonya of Ewing and Camberly Meadows Stewart of Owingsville.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his soon to be wife, Emily Workman Stewart of Morehead; a daughter, Aubri Stewart of Morehead; three brothers, Brian Stewart (Taryn) of Ewing, Cody Stewart of Owingsville, and Lathan Burton of Ewing; three sisters, Chelsea Bryant (Raymond) of Muses Mill, Carly Stewart and Cinley Stewart, both of Ewing; several nieces and nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, James and Margaret Stewart; maternal grandfather, Ray Williams; and an uncle, Kevin Stewart.
Charlie was a journeyman lineman for the Bowlin Group in Walton, Kentucky, and a 2012 graduate of Fleming County High School. He attended the Muses Mill Christian Church. Charlie enjoyed building projects, working on and restoring vehicles, hiking, going to the lake, riding his motorcycle, and watching documentaries. Most of all, he adored his daughter Aubri and soon to be wife Emily and loved his family with all of his heart. He will be greatly missed and always remembered with love.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Hutton Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Muses Mill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Greg Stewart, Raymond Bryant, Lathan Burton, Cody Brierley, Jesse Flora, and Zack Hamilton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Workman, Cody Stewart, and Brian Stewart.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
