John Dennis "Johnny" Dailey

John Dennis “Johnny” Dailey, age 74, of Foster Street, Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 1920, at U.K. HealthCare in Lexington.

Born August 11, 1945, in Fleming County, he was the son of the late Robert Russell Dailey and Wilma Olive Ramey Dailey.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Thomas Dailey and Danny David “Dee” Dailey, and one sister, Rosemary Ishmael.

Johnny is survived by his life partner, Patricia Jane “Pat” Dailey; one son, Christopher Dennis “Chris” Dailey of Menifee County, and one daughter, Lou Ann Dailey Camargo of Maysville; four grandchildren, Robert Vice, Rachael Vice, Brittney Dailey, and Tyler Dailey; eight great grandchildren, Johnathon, Kylee, Nadiya, Lynix, Isiah, Harlow, Bodhi, and Marshell.

He is also survived by one brother, Warren Robert “Bobby” Dailey of Hillsboro, and one sister, Roberta Evonne Vice of Tilton, Kentucky, as well as extended family and friends.

Johnny was a retired custom fence builder and former tobacco farmer.  A loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Johnny enjoyed Western movies and was a jokester who loved to “pick on people.”  He will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at Hutton Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Skaggs officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. 

Pallbearers: Chris Dailey, Tyler Dailey, Robert M. Vice, Martin D. Vice, Jimmy Dailey, Richard Easton.  Honorary pallbearers:  Matthew Jolly, Chuck Ramey, Ted Allen Ramey, David “Beetle” Ramey, Curt Fawns, Chad Kirby, Brett Fawns, Terry Paige.

Visitation is 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2020, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
