Phillip Allen Patton, age 63, of Colfax Road, Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at his residence.
Born October 9, 1955, in Zionsville, Indiana, he was a son of the late Allen “Pinball” Patton and Evelyn Shepherd Patton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Patton.
Phillip is survived by his wife of 37 years, Corrina Parkison Patton, whom he married November 2, 1981; three sons, Joshua (Loretta) Patton of Hillsboro, Jason (Jessica) Patton of Wallingford, and Justin (Melissa) Patton of Hillsboro; three grandsons, Tyler, Jacob, and Jeremy; two step grandsons, Darrell O’Conner and Dylan Doyle; one step granddaughter, Liberty McIntyre; and one step great grandson, Maxwell Truesdale.
Other survivors include four brothers, Ronnie Patton and Darrell Patton, both of Floyd County, Elvis Patton of Winchester, and Michael Patton of Martin; five sisters, Margie Slone, Veronica Moore, and Cindy Prater, all of Maytown, Brenda Crager of Garrett, and Angela Patton of Floyd County; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends.
Phillip was a farmer and was a former employee of Guardian Automotive in Morehead. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Phillip was a member of the Grange City Christian Church.
A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Grange City Christian Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Richard Engle, Brother Randy Hawkins, and Brother Charles Curtis.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Grange City Christian Church, 11161 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
