Robert “Bobby” Allen Gibson, age 66, of Flemingsburg, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
He was born June 20, 1957, in Morehead, and was the only child of the late Elmo Roger Gibson and Mary Effie Hyatt Gibson.
He is survived by an uncle, Willis Turner of Tollsboro, a cousin, Johnny James of Flemingsburg, and many friends.
Bobby was a life-long farmer. He loved riding his tractor and enjoyed collecting diecast tractors and movies, drinking coffee, and visiting with friends. Bobby will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Hutton Funeral Home with Brother Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Hutton Funeral Home, 7634 Hillsboro Road, Hillsboro, KY 41049.
